This installation was inspired by transitions. In life there are many moments of change and balancing acts as your priorities shift. Cardboard boxes are a fragile, temporary storage. The boxes in the exhibit are tumbling in the air to emphasis movement and the line between balance and imbalance. Some boxes are sealed signifying that they are already in use. Other boxes are open waiting until they are needed. The shadows cast from the sculpture become fragmented representing fleeting moments and memories. As the viewer walks behind the sculpture their shadow fractures and integrates into the work.
