Biography
Julia Miller is a mixed media artist who lives and works near Albany New York. She explores the relations between people, objects, and memories. The materials used in her practice are found objects related to domestic spaces, objects recreated from my own memory, and materials related to new construction. Miller has earned her Masters of Fine Arts from Stony Brook University and a Bachelors of Science in Art Education from The College of Saint Rose. Miller is qualified by New York State to teach from Kindergarten to twelfth grade. She has been in solo and group shows in Albany and Long Island and has taught in Troy. East Greenbush, Cohoes, Bethlehem, Albany, Lindenhurst, and multiple facilities in New York City and New Jersey.
