Living on Long Island the trains are how we get to and from the city. They are a big aspect of my life especially now living away from my family. These train tracks are my way back but often over looked. When walking the tracks I found these old railroad spikes and became obsessed with them and the history they hold. In these sculptures I am exploring the arrangements and character of the spikes.
