THE ACT OF PAINTING

This mural lived in my studio. I made this work thinking about the act of painting and where people usually paint; studios, homes, and more. I wondered if the walls held memories what form would it take and what memories would be imprinted onto it. Its a very laborious process and usually marks a change in space. It may be changing the function or style of a room in your house. It may signify a blank slate on your studio walls. What ever the change may be I wonder how many of us have memories with this process.
